Salary range: $1,665,309 – $1,979,529 per annum
JOB PURPOSE
To create and design social media content aimed at promoting the mandate for Ministry of Health and Wellness and maintaining an online relationship with stakeholders.
KEY OUTPUT
- Results- based social media proposal
- Social media work plan/schedule
- Artwork and messages for daily social media placement (photos, memes)
- Artwork for social media sponsored advertisements
- Concepts and scripts for videos
- Photographs, tweets and videos from organization events
- Monthly social media report
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Management/Administrative Responsibilities
- Participates in meetings, seminars, workshop and conferences as required.
- Develops individual work plan.
- Resides on and participates in relevant committees as required.
Technical/Professional Responsibilities
- Develops a schedule of daily posts promoting the mandate of the organization.
- Creates and post daily unique content including photos, memes and / or videos of the organization’s social media profiles.
- Maintains interactions with followers by answering question/ comments in a timely manner and encouraging communication through the social media channels.
- Attends events/ activities and provide online coverage through live tweets, photos and / or videos.
- Collaborates with various units of the organization in order to produce the content.
- Provides support in the development of press releases and newsletters.
- Provides support to the Director, Public Relations and Communication in responding to enquiries from the public, media and other organization.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communication, Digital Media Production, Marketing or any other related field
- Experience in communications and social media including conceptualizing, designing and developing social media content and brand awareness
- Three (3) years’ experience in a related field
