Compensation $6,323,260 (Minimum)
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Foundation’s Board of Directors, the Executive Director of the National Healthcare Enhancement Foundation Ltd is responsible for providing leadership and direction in coordinating, managing and overseeing the operations of the organization by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The incumbent is also responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the strategic and operational plans, policies and procedures of the Foundation.
KEY OUTPUT
- Strategic Business and Operational Plan prepared;
- Policies and procedures developed;
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports prepared and submitted;
- Annual Budget reviewed and rationale presented;
- Financial reports reveiwied;
- Linkages with National and International Donor Agencies maintained;
- Programmes and projects monitored;
- Special reports/speeches/presentations prepared;
- Charitable gifts appropriately monitored;
- Adequate controls or tracking systems in place;
- Staff performance management appraisals conducted
Key responsibility areas INCLUDES:
- Spearheads the development of the Foundation’s strategic business and operational plans;
- Develops policies and procedures to guide the operations of the Foundation;
- Represents the Foundation at meetings, conferences and other functions as planned or directed;
- Provides technical advice to the Board of Directors, the Hon Minister, Health & Wellness and other relevant stakeholders on the planning and performance management of the Foundation;
- Participates in the recruitment, selection and retention of competent and qualified staff;
- Monitors employees’ performance management and development.
- Approves all documents, agreements, and other instruments made on behalf of the organization.
Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Masters’ Degree in Management or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in implementing and managing projects in a related field
- Expertise and experience in strategic planning
OR
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, Management Studies or related field plus
- 10 years’ experience in a senior leadership role or leading a Foundation or Nonprofit entity or in community relations, philanthropy, volunteerism and fundraising.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Flexibility to travel across the island and off the island as necessary
