Salary $1,711,060 per annum
JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Surveillance Officer, the Data Entry Officer (MIS/IT 2) will maintain surveillance databases. This officer will work to ensure that surveillance data is cleaned, stored and retrieved as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Collates and cleans incoming surveillance data
- Logs receipt incoming surveillance data, as needed
- Enters surveillance data into relevant database
- Updates surveillance data as new data are received
- Maintains logs and paper and electronic files/databases
- Participates in training of staff at all levels in data management tools and processes
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) CSEC subject (General Proficiency Grade 1-3) including English Language and a numeric subject
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is an asset
- One (1) year working experience in a related environment
