Compensation – $3,335,402 pa (Minimum)
Job Purpose:
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the Foundation, the Campaign and Donor Relations Associate will be responsible for the mobilization of a wide variety of donors giving to the public health sector, manages campaigns, public relations and fundraising activities. The incumbent is also required to manage donor information gathered from volunteer management activities, relationship building and community impact. The Campaign and Donor Relations Associate The role is the central point of contact with donors to manage the engagement, stewardship, acknowledgement and recognition processes to ensure donors of all giving levels are engaged and appreciated in ways that reinforce the positive impact of their giving and inspire ongoing generosity.

- Donors portfolio managed and coordinated;
- Communications, stewardship and engagement strategies formulated;
- Donor events coordinated and organized;
- Donations coordinated, distributed and delivered;
- Donor commitments tracked and monitored;
- Action plans developed and KPI’s tracked;
- Donor networks relationship maintained;
- Donation offers reviewed and evaluated;
- Donations documented and records maintained;
- Technical advice provided;
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports prepared and submitted;
- Individual workplan prepared.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and coordinates the portfolio of donors from information gathered from prior donations, research and other initiatives conducted;
- Formulates communication, stewardship, and engagement strategies to successfully reinforce the positive impact of donor initiatives to continuously inspire ongoing generosity, build awareness of donor opportunities and foster donor confidence in the value proposition of the Foundation;
- Acts as the primary contact for all donor outreach and engagement activities in the provision of expert advice and/or information on donor processes, donation opportunities and programmes and relevant critical dynamics in the public health sector that may influence donor consideration;
- Represents the Foundation and MOHW at various events to engage key stakeholders including donors, private sector, public bodies and media;
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts related field or other relevant field.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in public relations, philanthropic services, development and/or donor engagement, or similar experience providing relationship management for a client portfolio, which has provided the individual with the knowledge, abilities, and skills as called for in the aforementioned responsibilities.
OR
- Associate Degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or other related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant work experience in public relations, philanthropic services, development and/or donor engagement, or similar experience providing relationship management for a client portfolio, which has provided the individual with the knowledge, abilities, and skills as called for in the aforementioned responsibilities.
- Experience in producing grant proposals and reporting for a variety of donors.
- Training in project management including grant management would be an asset.
