Compensation $4,184,670 pa (Minimum)
JOB PURPOSE
Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the Foundation, the Business Operations Manager provides oversight for the day-to-day operations of the National Healthcare Foundation Ltd including; (1) reviewing and evaluating donations for acceptance; (2) providing advisory support to donors for shipping, delivery and customs clearance requirements; (3) reviewing and facilitating the timely processing of the applications of Medical Missions to Jamaica; (4) coordinating or facilitating accepted donations distribution and delivery to requisite beneficiaries; (5) ensures the adherence and compliance to donor policy and procedures and reporting requirements.
KEY OUTPUT
- Donations coordinated, distributed and delivered;
- Donation offers reviewed and evaluated;
- Donations documented and records maintained;
- Donations and medical mission database system updated and maintained;
- Health Projects and activities identified, co-ordinated & evaluated;
- Technical advice provided;
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports prepared and submitted;
- Individual workplan prepared.
Key responsibility areas INCLUDES:
- Contributes to the development of the Operational Plan and Budget of the Foundation;
- Participates and gives suggestions/recommendations to the development and implementation of Programmes to advance the vision, mission and strategic goals of the organization;
- Conducts preliminary reviews and evaluations of donation offers for acceptance in accordance with the donor policy and procedures, standards and regulations and needs of the public health sector;
Minimum Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Management, Finance, Social Sciences, Public Administration or other relevant field
- Three (3) years of relevant work experience and/or providing office administration support in a time sensitive, customer focused and team environment.
- Training in project management including grant management would be an asset
