Salary Scale: Min: $645,947.00 per annum to Max: $767,829.00 per annum
JOB PURPOSE:
To coordinate the inventory, storage, distribution and maintenance of all IEC materials housed
by the Health Promotion and Education Unit and provide assistance to Technical Officers in the
preparation and execution of Health Promotion activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
- Maintains a current inventory of all IEC materials inclusive of educational materials, banners, promotional items that are stored by the Health Promotion and Education Unit
- Guided by the relevant Technical Officers, creates a distribution list for the varied educational materials
- Maintains record of the distribution of educational materials on a daily basis
- Maintains record of loan of equipment and materials
- Makes arrangements for the collection of materials
- Facilitates the receipt of new materials and checks items to ensure correct quantity and satisfactory quality
- Documents to whom materials have been distributed and the quantity of materials
- Develops an electronic database to maintain all the required information and updates it on a weekly basis
- Updates on a weekly basis new IEC materials on the HPE Cloud storage system, as guided by the communication officers
- Assists with the preparation and execution of Health Promotion activities such as meetings, conferences, camps, special events.
- Assists with data entry
- Assists with photocopying, scanning, binding of documents and preparation of folders
- Performs any other services as may be assigned
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- Four (4) CXC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics (General Proficiency or GCE O’ Level equivalent); and
- Two (2) years’ experience in a comparable position.
