Basic Salary $1,440,000 per annum
JOB PURPOSE
The overall objective of this consultancy is provide a 24-hour Mental & Suicide Prevention Helpline services for persons with mental illness and their families.
KEY OUTPUT
• Provide administrative support for the efficient operations of a 24-hour Helpline service
• Establish a database for recording mental health cases/calls
• Manage Helpline communication/promotion activities
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS INCLUDES:
• Manage efficiently all calls to the Helpline to ensure timely responses and transfer to available Counselling Psychologist.
• Organize meeting and training logistics, as required
• Type, collate and dispatch reports and other documents
• Records and type Minutes of Meetings
• Maintain an appropriate filling system for the storage and easy retrieval of records.
• Liaise with the relevant Helpline and MOHW officials to ensure timely renewal/payment pf telephone services.
• Maintain an updated list of referral department/organization and contact information for the professionals in the community mental health network.
• Manage and update duty roster for public mental health teams Island wide.
• Manages a schedule of meetings/events of interest to Helpline team
• Monitor attendance register to ensure it is updated at all times
• Manage and update Helpline Counsellors’ rosters
• Facilitate referrals and first responder activities in a timely manner, and in support of the Counselling Psychologists.
• Establish and manage database for recording mental health cases/calls.
• Work closely with MOHW public Relations & Communication Unit to ensure timely communication support for Helpline services
• Assist in performing other task as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Administrative Management or discipline from an accredited University
• At least three (3) years administrative experience
• Technologically savvy
• Excellent communication skills (English and Jamaica Dialect)
