It is, once again, that time of year when we celebrate the sterling service of our healthcare heroes: Healthcare Workers Appreciation Month.
“For the second year running, we are taking the month of July to specially recognise our healthcare workers,” said Minister of Health & Wellness, Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton, MP.
“We salute our more than 23,000 healthcare heroes and invite all of Jamaica to join us in celebrating them as we continue to honour their commitment, service, and sacrifice,” the Minister added.
The month-long celebrations will feature a series of events and activities at the national, regional and parish levels, including the observance of National Healthcare Workers Appreciation Day on Thursday, July 13.
