The Health Policy Plus (HP+) is currently finalizing a comprehensive gender-based violence (GBV) package to improve GBV care and services in the public health sector which would consist of guidelines for GBV management in health facilities including process flowcharts and IEC materials. The package was handed over to Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Mr. Dunstan E. Bryan during a courtesy call on the Ministry of Health recently.
The Health Policy Plus (HP+) project + is a five year initiative which aims to assist in the creation of an enabling environment for the equitable and sustainable provision of health services, supplies and delivery systems by advancing health policy, advocacy, financing and governance, in the fields of family planning (FP), reproductive health (RH), maternal/neonatal/child health (MNCH) and HIV and AIDS.
In October 2018, HP+ handed over Complaint Management System Manuals to the Ministry of Health.
