Abstracts for 2024
Health Research Conference Welcomed
KINGSTON, Jamaica. Wednesday, July 31, 2024: The Ministry of Health & Wellness is inviting researchers, including clinicians, nurses, researchers, lecturers, STEM students, and other health affiliated professionals, are invited to submit high quality research abstracts for the upcoming NHRC scheduled to take place from November 20-22, 2024, appropriately themed “Health & Wellness: Everybody’s Business”.
The research area for this year’s conference are: Factors associated with Healthcare Delivery; Workplace Health & Wellness; Violence and Injuries in Vulnerable Groups; Technology in Health or Climate Change and Health. Other high-quality research outside these themes is also welcomed. The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, September 6, 2024. Submissions will only be accepted via the National Health Research Conference webpage: https://www.moh.gov.jm/nhrc-submit/
The 15th NHRC is a significant forum for medical and scientific knowledge that translates to improved policy and practice for the Ministry and the wider public health system. Stakeholders from a wide-cross section of health institutions, non-governmental organisations and research-based institutions and universities gather together to discuss relevant topics for local and regional healthcare and research.
