In light of the deteriorating weather conditions associated with Hurricane Matthew, the Ministry of Health is advising staff members located in the central offices not to report to work on Monday October 3, 2016. The central offices are located at:
RKA Building – 10- 16 Grenada Way Kingston 5
24-26 Grenada Crescent, Kingston 5
Masonic Building, 45-47 Barbados Avenue, Kingston 5
Bevad Ltd Building, 10A Chelsea Avenue, Kingston 5
Ministry of Heath staff who work in these central offices are instead being asked to, if the weather permits, report to the nearest health facilities and offer support. As the country braces for the impact of Hurricane Matthew, the Ministry of Health is urging its staff to remain safe especially if they are located in flood prone areas.
If roads become impassable, Ministry of Health staff members are being asked to not venture out.
