Salary $1,272,269-1,711,060 per annum
JOB PURPOSE
Under the General supervision of the Administrator, the Records Clerk is required to locate and retrieve files and ensure that correspondence are accurately filed and files are maintained to facilitate easy access of information as well as the scheduling of patients for surgery and post-operative evaluations for the ophthalmology centre.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Ensure that files requested are dispatched and files are re-shelved
- Sorts records
- Maintains records of the movement of files
- Ensure that all files and enclosures are numbered accordingly are in correct order
- Files correspondence and charge out cards
- Locate cards and replace on returned files
- Creates new files
- Maintains “Bring up” System
- Removes inactive records for shelves
- Prepares inactive records for transfer
- Records and re-shelf incoming files
- Overseas the operations of the ophthalmology centre records
- Schedule patients for pre-operative, post-operative evaluations, surgery and
Laser treatment.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4 CXC or O’ Level including English
- Training in records Management
