Salary Scale: Min: $1,550,136.00 to Max: $2,084,761.00 per annum

 

JOB PURPOSE

  • Under the supervisor vision of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Records Officer will create a staffing database, collect and collate staffing census data generate reports for specific dates.

 

KEY OUTPUTS

  • Create a Staffing Database.
  • Collect and Collate staffing and census data.
  • Generate Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reports.
  • Manage Files, incoming and outgoing mails.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS INCLUDE:

  • Collects, collates and enters data for defined activities under the Nursing Services
  • Prepares computerized statistical reports of data from regions.
  • Updates weekly, log sheets for the various regional information.
  • Requests personal demographic and immunization information for submission of blood specimens to CAREC
  • Identifies and prepares specimens for transport to CAREC for diagnostic testing.
  • Monitors the receipt of all reports incoming mail to the Nursing Services by date stamping and distributing to the relevant Surveillance Officers.
  • Gives weekly reports on areas of responsibility at the weekly meetings.
  • Compiles weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on the activities of the Nursing Services.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned by Chief Nursing Officer

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum requirements for entrance into the Public Service i.e.4 CXC/‘O’ Level including a Numeric Subject and English.
  • Minimum two (2) years work experience
