Emergency and Disaster Risk Management
- CARICOM
- Strategic medical and Public Health advisory services are given to CARICOM on health emergency and disaster risk management

- Jamaica is the Health Focal Point for the Northern Caribbean on behalf of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA)
- The Branch maintains trained and equipped National and Caribbean Rapid Response Team, in particular for the Northern Caribbean
- The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA)
- Jamaica supports and collaborate with the five CARPHA public health bodies / services

Emergency Medical Care
- Caribbean Poison Information Network(CARPIN)
- The Unit participates in the establishment of standards and ensure that there is 24-hr operations of selected programmes
- United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
- Medical and health support is given to the activities of the UNHCR and GOJ to protect and support refugees / illegal immigrants
